Managing Director,
Head of Advisory Services
Pierre is the Managing Director of the Climate Platform. He has provided consulting services to various Multilateral Development Banks and UN organizations. He served at the Green Climate Fund as Senior Renewable Energy Specialist and GCF Global Coordinator of the Climate Investment Platform. His practice areas include structuring climate finance deals, technical and strategic advisory in climate finance, policy advisory and renewable energy.
Dr Solomon Asfaw
Director for Evaluation, Monitoring
and Learning
Dr. Solomon is a Director for Evaluation, Monitoring and Learning division of the Climate Platform. He has over 18 years of experience working with Multilateral Development Banks and UN Organisation. He served at the Green Climate Fund and European Investment Bank as Senior Evaluator as well as worked at FAO of the UN as Economist and Strategic Program Advisor. Dr Solomon holds a PhD in Economics and his practice areas include design and evaluation of climate change, sustainable development, agriculture, and social sector programs and programmatic modalities.
Vladimira Broja
Office Manager
Vladimira joined Climate Platform in February 2026 as Office Manager, bringing energy and commitment to the operational heart of the firm. Based in Berlin, she supports the team across a range of administrative and coordination functions, including project tracking, client and consultant relations, procurement, and financial administration. Her role keeps the firm’s day-to-day operations running smoothly, allowing our advisory team to focus on delivering impact for clients. Vladimira embodies the collaborative, mission-driven spirit of Climate Platform, and we are proud to support her as she begins her professional journey with us.
Dr William Fonta
Lead, Climate Change Adaptation
Prior to joining the Climate Platform William served as Senior Adaptation Specialist at the African Development Bank (AfDB), a position he held from October 2018 to October 2022. His field experience covers more than two and a half decades of in-country work and consultantship in more than 25 countries across Africa, including longer-term assignments in Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Senegal, and Côte d’Iviore. William’s research areas include Climate Change Economics, Public and Development Finances, Economics of Natural Resources Management, Rural Development and Finance, and Welfare Economics. He has co-authored more 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, monographs, discussion papers, and book chapters.
Asinty Mukete
Climate Operations and Gender Specialist
Asinty is a climate operations and gender professional with prior experience in organisational operations, environmental management, climate research, and trade finance. Her areas of focus are gender equality, social inclusion, social protection and environmental impacts across climate finance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Management from the University of Manchester and is pursuing graduate studies in Data Science.
Dr. Lindy Whitehouse
Senior Science Writer and Communication Specialist
Lindy is a science writer and communications senior consultant with Climate Platform, specializing in climate change, sustainability, and ESG reporting. She has experience in science communication, carbon literacy training, and educational content development. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo, researching climate change impacts on fish immunology, and taught Environmental Chemistry at Bits Pilani University, India. Lindy holds a PhD in Biology (University of Regina, Canada), an MRes in Sustainable Aquaculture (Swansea University, UK), and a BSc in Zoology (Cardiff University, UK).
Faithful Atusinguza
Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Circular Economy Specialist
Faithful Atusinguza is an environmental and public health expert specializing in climate change adaptation, mitigation, circular economy, and WASH. She has worked with GIZ on Uganda’s water and sanitation programs and GGGI on circular economy and climate financing. With experience in research and advisory roles, she applies systems thinking to sustainable development in resource-constrained settings. Her expertise supports Climate Platform’s mission to advance science-based solutions for climate resilience and resource management.
